Hello

Hello, and welcome to my class!

I currently live in Dubuque, Iowa with my husband and our cat, Gizmo. My husband is a software developer for a local insurance company. We love the outdoors, and spend a lot of our summers camping and hiking. We are also currently expecting our first child, due in May!

This is my 9th year teaching, and my 4th year at IACA. I love being a teacher, and I have been a Title 1 reading teacher, an elementary substitute teacher, as well as teaching 3rd and 5th grade at IACA. This year, I am teaching Language Arts and Social Studies for all 3rd-5th grade, and I am the Coordinator for the IACA Gifted and Talented program!

I am 34 years old, and I grew up all across the United States. I have lived in Massachusetts, Georgia, Ohio, Virginia, Illinois, and I have settled in Iowa. I enjoy traveling, exploring new places, and trying new things. I love to cook, read, play video games, listen to music, and go to concerts.
